Greetings all! This page is the official web announce of True Survivors second benefit show! Last October, as some of you may recall, we had one to benefit Breast Cancer treatment and research. For our second one, it is a benefit for groups who help 'Trauma Injury Survivors' that category encompasses a wide variety or people, occupations and types of injuries. But many different sorts of people have stories of trauma survival. Including True Survivors Director Larkin who had a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) back in 1999.
"Yes, this one is more personal for me being a survivor of brain injury", says Larkin, "But in researching for this benefit I have learned there is a wide array of trauma survivors and not exclusively brain injuries."
As is evidenced by the left column here on this page, there are many different type of survivors. From military, fire fighters, police, general public, even athletes. You can see some excellent trauma survivors right here on True Survivors.
So please come out to O'Shaughnessy's Pub on Saturday April 11th! As it says above, there will be ZERO cover charge as well as free snacks and maybe a prize or two! Thanks and see you then!
